The Tennis Club is located just north of the village of Rancho Santa Fe and adjacent to the Golf Club on Via de la Cumbre. Click on ‘Contact Us’ for directions and a map. This “Lily Award” winning facility is nestled in a natural setting that overlooks the courts as well as the golf course. The 3,100 square foot tennis clubhouse contains the pro shop, including tennis merchandise sales and racquet repair, and the Club’s activity center.

The Tennis Club boasts twelve championship courts including nine hard courts, two Har-Tru (clay) courts and one (carpeted) courts.

An enthusiastic group of tennis players keeps the courts busy with league play, weekly mixers, summer and after-school camps for juniors, tournaments and a broad variety of social events. Private and group lessons are available for adult and junior players of all levels. The Tennis Club’s philosophy is to make learning and playing as much fun as possible, and to build confidence in the player as well as a love for the game. The staff includes two full-time professionals, two weekend professionals, and four junior professionals.

Steve Dawson, Tennis Director, Head Tennis Professional, oversees all aspects of the tennis club.

Dophie Poiset, Ladies Program Director, Junior Development Director, oversees junior tennis program and ladies league and social programs.

Derek Miller, Assistant Tennis Professional, handles all overflow tennis lessons, and oversees Men’s A Saturday morning program, weekend tennis programs.

Trent Miller, Assistant Tennis Professional, handles all Sunday tennis lessons.

Linda Sherrod, Assistant Tennis Professional, Junior Tennis Program.

Dave Dollins, Assistant Tennis Professional, handles Men’s Weekday Mixers, overflow tennis lessons.
